Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Francisco Seco made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Francisco Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pavlos Fotiadis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kevin Carballal was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. The goalkeeper, Joaquin Gayoso, was totally fooled by Cyprus Eagles AFC's Leonidas Stathis, who 10 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantinos Ikonomopoulos in the 14th minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pavlos Fotiadis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joaquin Gayoso stood somewhat misplaced when Nontas Markas came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 22 minute. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nontas Markas in the 25th minute. When Markos Katselis fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cyprus Eagles AFC's protests and gave Markos Katselis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Cyprus Eagles AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markos Katselis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Cyprus Eagles AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Pavlos Fotiadis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Pavlos Fotiadis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Pavlos Fotiadis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Markos Katselis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. The goal made the score 3-2. 48 minutes into the match, Cyprus Eagles AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Pavlos Fotiadis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Nontas Markas made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximiliano Escribano in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pavlos Fotiadis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Konstantinos Ikonomopoulos took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cyprus Eagles AFC's goalkeeper Pavlos Fotiadis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Francisco Seco could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Pavlos Fotiadis however easily saved by the left post. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Cyprus Eagles AFC's Leonidas Stathis. But to his dismay, Leonidas Stathis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantinos Ikonomopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Uruguay fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Cyprus Eagles AFC. Leonidas Stathis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. 6-2. Markos Katselis kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Francisco Seco came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pavlos Fotiadis could save by the left post. In the 83rd minute of the match Makis Garpozis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Gayoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 88th minute, Konstantinos Ikonomopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 89th minute of play forced Cyprus Eagles AFC's goalkeeper Pavlos Fotiadis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cyprus Eagles AFC's Nikos Pathekas got a free kick in the 94th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Leonidas Stathis came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Many of Uruguay's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Uruguay may have spent more time on the ball, but Cyprus Eagles AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
