Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Kapera having to interfere. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Aurelio Burelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lucky Number Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Burelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuele Di Piazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The audience was convinced that Armin Scacchi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute Armin Scacchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Armin Scacchi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Armin Scacchi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armin Scacchi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Armin Scacchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emiliano Sessa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Lucky Number Team made a substitution. Biagio Rosini replaced Armin Pari. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Biagio Rosini to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Sessa, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Biagio Rosini kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 62 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Emiliano Sessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Lucky Number Team booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Sessa in the 79th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Kapera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lucky Number Team.
