Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Armin Scacchi got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Lucky Number Team's Emanuele Di Piazza got a free kick in the 3rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herbert Kapera saved Lucky Number Team from getting behind. After having played for 9 minutes, Emanuele Di Piazza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lucky Number Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuele Di Piazza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herbert Kapera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Herbert Kapera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Lucky Number Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play forced Lucky Number Team's goalkeeper Herbert Kapera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Aurelio Burelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Herbert Kapera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Lucky Number Team defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herbert Kapera. The Lucky Number Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herbert Kapera should have stopped the shot. Herbert Kapera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of the match. Aurelio Burelli made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 36thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Julio Vera would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 38 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herbert Kapera. Lucky Number Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Herbert Kapera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Emanuele Di Piazza fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lucky Number Team's protests and gave Emanuele Di Piazza a yellow card for diving instead. Lucky Number Team's Biagio Rosini was substituted for Armin Pari.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Lucky Number Team's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Felix Montenegro 54 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute Biagio Rosini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Rosini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Herbert Kapera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Sessa in the 68th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Herbert Kapera in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Herbert Kapera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Lucky Number Team made a substitution. Alessandro Scarinci replaced Filippo Monticelli. With a little luck, Lucky Number Team's Herbert Kapera got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 78 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emiliano Sessa who took care of the corner kick. Emiliano Sessa made a great header on Lucky Number Team's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Lucky Number Team's Herbert Kapera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 82nd minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Herbert Kapera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Lucky Number Team's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Herbert Kapera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Herbert Kapera managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lucky Number Team throughout the match.
