The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Stig-Åke Elin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Paolo Azuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 12th minute of play. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 13th minute. After taking down the ball on USA's corner Diego Bradley fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paolo Azuela quite easily take care of the ball. Monty Rogers scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paolo Azuela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paolo Azuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 23rd minute of the match. Paolo Azuela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 31st minute of play forced JELINEBERG's goalkeeper Paolo Azuela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Azuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jenson Smith in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, USA's Cassius Byrne nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paolo Azuela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Paolo Azuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 37th minute of play. JELINEBERG's Paolo Azuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, USA's Koby Fletcher got a free kick in the 40th minute. Paolo Azuela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by JELINEBERG's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on USA's corner Jenson Smith fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paolo Azuela quite easily take care of the ball. The JELINEBERG players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. USA were winning 0-2.

Monty Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Azuela having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Tercero Imperiale came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tor Skytt kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Monty Rogers took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paolo Azuela. Paolo Azuela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tercero Imperiale, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Paolo Azuela made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monty Rogers in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paolo Azuela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Paolo Azuela in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tercero Imperiale in the 78th minute of play. Paolo Azuela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. With a little luck, JELINEBERG's Paolo Azuela got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Tercero Imperiale notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of USA's Marco Day. Marco Day was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Khalid Parry received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paolo Azuela came out and tried to block the shot, but Khalid Parry slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 88th minute. Sam Campbell scored 1-5 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paolo Azuela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
