The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Izydor Pyczkowski during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Piesciuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baycan Tura. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stuart Armstrong in the 63rd minute of play. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Facundo Cadaval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Antoni Piesciuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KP Brzeg Dolny's Antoni Piesciuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KP Brzeg Dolny's Izydor Pyczkowski got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Luca Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KP Brzeg Dolny throughout the match.
