With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Melik Olgun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Çağatay Uluhan kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. A collision led to Esenyurt getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Alptuğ Ulusu hit a great ball. Alexander Carballo's late challenge caught a Esenyurt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexander Carballo helped the player get up and apologised. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Esenyurt's Onuralp Uraza tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Batıkan İrem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Melik Olgun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. 18 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esenyurt the free kick. In the 18th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melik Olgun in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. Onuralp Uraza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melik Olgun. In the 30th minute, Çağatay Uluhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Batıkan İrem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Batıkan İrem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Melik Olgun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esenyurt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melik Olgun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 42 played minutes Mirza Uludağ rounded Costa Rica's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alptuğ Ulusu in the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 60th minute. The audience was convinced that Mirza Uludağ's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After 63 minutes of play, Esenyurt's Alptuğ Ulusu made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melik Olgun in the 66th minute of play. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Esenyurt's Ali Nabi İhsan was substituted for Çağatay Uluhan. 70 minutes into the game, Aaron Alcocer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esenyurt the free kick. In the 70th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alptuğ Ulusu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Esenyurt's Arif Gaffar Rıfkı got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute, Esenyurt's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Axel Tasis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mirza Uludağ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alptuğ Ulusu in the 86th minute of the match. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mirza Uludağ went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Mirza Uludağ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esenyurt's Batıkan İrem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Esenyurt from getting a goal against them. Esenyurt's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
