Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zack Bye took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zack Bye in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Zack Bye sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sean Hollingsworth in the 28th minute. Sean Hollingsworth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaac Prutton saved Dorking United FC from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zack Bye. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dorking United FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 50th minute, Karl Fletcher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute Zack Bye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Isaac Prutton to make any attempt to save it. Benji Corby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. If Zack Bye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benji Corby in the 65th minute of play. Benji Corby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sammy Toovey charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sammy Toovey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jools Stamp in the 73rd minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Dorking United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Isaac Prutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes, Karl Fletcher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dorking United FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Karl Fletcher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Dorking United FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
