When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Zack Bye sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zack Bye went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 14th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zack Bye showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 28 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Zack Bye kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 4-0 in the 33 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zack Bye, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 38 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastian Kenna who took care of the corner kick. Dorking United FC's Sebastian Kenna was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The corner ended in Brett Corby almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. In the 40th minute, Dorking United FC's Brett Corby dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. In the 45th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Dorking United FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zack Bye made a kick off. Brett Corby made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Karl Fletcher. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benji Corby in the 56th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zack Bye in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 62 minutes, Zack Bye managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dorking United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zack Bye was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62ndth minute of the game Zack Bye who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benji Corby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Hollingsworth came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Benji Corby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jools Stamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Benji Corby notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sean Hollingsworth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jools Stamp's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. After 95 minutes, Jools Stamp made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Dorking United FC had played much better football throughout.
