Maksymilian Prusinowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maksymilian Prusinowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Latkiewicz in the 20th minute of play. But to his dismay, Zenon Hetman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Çağan Serol's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Çağan Serol helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes 1909 Tarnovia got a freekick which was hit by Çağan Serol. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Prosper Vandamme to strike the kick off in the second half. 1909 Tarnovia's Maksymilian Prusinowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save 1909 Tarnovia from getting a goal against them. After 55 minutes 1909 Tarnovia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Maksymilian Prusinowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ulryk Podolski took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulryk Podolski in the 67th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 played minutes 1909 Tarnovia got a freekick which was hit by Ludomir Werra. Ludomir Werra hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Maksymilian Prusinowski made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maksymilian Prusinowski. Maksymilian Prusinowski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. When Primitivo Andino fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Primitivo Andino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute of the match Karol Pisarcik shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakub Gondela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When 1909 Tarnovia's Jakub Gondela in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Camilo Gisbert got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luis Andino. The supporters of 1909 Tarnovia booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because 1909 Tarnovia had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
