Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 4th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5thth minute of the game Monty Rogers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marco Day was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Stamen Tekeliev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stamen Tekeliev really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 10th minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Edward Mcdonald left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 14th minute Zach Harrison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes, Cassius Byrne made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Stamen Tekeliev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Stamen Tekeliev sent off a good shot on target. Zé Roberto Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's Stamen Tekeliev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stamen Tekeliev in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Stamen Tekeliev came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Roberto Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Mcdonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some careless play in the USA defense, Stamen Tekeliev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. Playa Malvín's Josu Onez was substituted for Sandu Mândrilă. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Mcdonald got free with Zé Roberto Teixeira in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Koby Fletcher hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Playa Malvín's Stelian Murgu got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Playa Malvín from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 83rd minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sam Campbell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Zé Roberto Teixeira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Zé Roberto Teixeira managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when USA's Sam Campbell fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Sam Campbell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. Despite being the better team, USA failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
