The supporters of Venezuela booed when Darkness was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Orland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Serafino Bazil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Kane Einstein got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. Bruno Magdaleno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 35th minute of the match. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Darkness's Rodolfo Hori in action when he in the 42nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serafino Bazil went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When Camilo Gaos fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Camilo Gaos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafino Bazil was the one to do the kick off. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Magdaleno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Darkness's Ole-Gunnar Klose got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ole-Gunnar Klose blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Bruno Magdaleno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Darkness's goalkeeper Bruno Magdaleno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kane Einstein, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Darkness's Benigno Canor was substituted for Ole-Gunnar Klose. Benigno Canor hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Canor in the 91st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Benigno Canor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Darkness were the better team. Darkness's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
