Sandrinho Machado made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 57th minute of play forced Lobo Guará's goalkeeper Daniel Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lobo Guará's Aykut Adar was substituted for Kerimhan Özonder. 59 minutes in the game Sandrinho Machado did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ezequiel Pereira. After 60 minutes of play, Lobo Guará's Ezequiel Pereira made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Despite this Daniel Anaya quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 70 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro de Moraes came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Lobo Guará getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ciro de Moraes hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Ciro de Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Anaya having to interfere. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Alonso Berganza made in the 84th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eliseo Alcocer however managed to control. Rafael Gallo scored 4-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Anaya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lobo Guará fans cheered their team off the field, for while Peru had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
