Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andy Hendrickx took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Andy Hendrickx left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blue Beast fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Blue Beast players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Blue Beast booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 30 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tjorven Caspers who took care of the corner kick. 30 minutes into the match, Dany Bastin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 3-0. Antonio Cempeners could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Andy Hendrickx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Andy Hendrickx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eddy Huijgens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Antonio Cempeners notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Eddy Huijgens made a huge save. Andy Hendrickx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 minutes of play, Blue Beast's Andy Hendrickx made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Hendrickx in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Blue Beast's Antonio Cempeners sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Hendrickx, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, Blue Beast's Brain Van den Sande got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Antonio Cempeners sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 82 played minutes Blue Beast got a freekick which was hit by Brain Van den Sande. Blue Beast's Antonio Cempeners got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eddy Huijgens made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Hendrickx, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
