In the 3rd minute, Remo Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandrinho Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Valassiou in the 6th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikos Valassiou in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandrinho Veiga saved Fast layne Fc from getting behind. When El Pinar's Nikos Valassiou in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fast layne Fc's goalie prevented a goal. Sandrinho Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toma Merlushkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fast layne Fc's zone, Nikos Valassiou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandrinho Veiga came out of the goal and Nikos Valassiou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nikos Valassiou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandrinho Veiga having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Fast layne Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chicão Vargas to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Fast layne Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Valassiou came free, but Sandrinho Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, El Pinar's Duarte Castellon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sandrinho Veiga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Sandrinho Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Castellon in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Duarte Castellon managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Pinar's supporters rose to their feet, but Duarte Castellon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandrinho Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nikos Valassiou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nikos Valassiou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandrinho Veiga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Enéas Gaspar's late challenge caught a El Pinar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enéas Gaspar helped the player get up and apologised. Fast layne Fc's Sandrinho Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Valassiou in the 47th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Gilson Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Toma Merlushkin made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Sandrinho Veiga managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when El Pinar's Nikos Valassiou fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 54 minutes into the match, Toma Merlushkin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sandrinho Veiga. Fast layne Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toma Merlushkin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. A collision led to El Pinar getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ronaldo Feloaga hit a great ball. Nikos Valassiou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandrinho Veiga having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Toma Merlushkin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sandrinho Veiga. That made the score 0-4 in the 61 minute of play. Toma Merlushkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Sandrinho Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 minutes Fast layne Fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thanos Kalikis who took care of the corner kick. 71 minutes into the match, Fast layne Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Toma Merlushkin came free, but Sandrinho Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vladimir Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Toma Merlushkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandrinho Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandrinho Veiga came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by El Pinar's Toma Merlushkin. But to his dismay, Toma Merlushkin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Toma Merlushkin scored 0-6 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sandrinho Veiga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sandrinho Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Castellon, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Nikos Valassiou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandrinho Veiga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. When Cleiton Moraes fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fast layne Fc's protests and gave Cleiton Moraes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Toma Merlushkin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Toma Merlushkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over El Pinar could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fast layne Fc throughout the match.
