The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gigi Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rien Oss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ajax's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guaberto Jacindo was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Muñes de Don Cuco's players had a chance to rest. Baron Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tonton Eren in the 7th minute of the match. Paulo Maldini made in the 10th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Chad Smith however managed to control. Gigi Buffon came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Rien Oss. But to his dismay, Rien Oss quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tonton Eren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baron Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Ajax's Baron Buffon threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wojtek Sokol, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 25 minutes into the match, Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Rien Oss came free, but Gigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rien Oss in the 27th minute of the match. With a little luck, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Baron Buffon got control of the ball when Andrzej Rudy tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute Rien Oss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute Los Muñes de Don Cuco were awarded a corner. Guaberto Jacindo went to the cornerflag to take it. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Baron Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wojtek Sokol in the 35th minute of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Wojtek Sokol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Baron Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Kajetan Ruszkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Los Muñes de Don Cuco made a substitution. Ramon Pero replaced Rien Oss. A collision led to Los Muñes de Don Cuco getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Kajetan Ruszkowski hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the game, Ajax's Tonton Eren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baron Buffon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 63 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goal looked a bit too open when Klement Bryk came free, but Baron Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigi Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramon Pero in the 64th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Pero got free with Gigi Buffon in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Ramon Pero to fire away a dangerous shot which Gigi Buffon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 66 played minutes Los Muñes de Don Cuco got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Moreira. 72 minutes into the game, Cheng Li Shi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ajax's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Muñes de Don Cuco the free kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ajax's goalie and right to Sandro Moreira. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ajax's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ajax made a substitution. Jacek Kieca replaced Wojtek Sokol. After 95 minutes Ajax's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guaberto Jacindo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Los Muñes de Don Cuco's corner Guaberto Jacindo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gigi Buffon quite easily take care of the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
