The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Ege Nesefi got free with Carlos Eduardo Ramos in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th match minute, Buenaventura FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Américo Oberto to maneuver through the defense. Marc Fontagnier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
