In the 49th minute of the match Zeng Guo Sen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baron Buffon skillfully saved the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Concetto Chelodi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Baron Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witomir Grabski in the 57th minute of play. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Rien Oss got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baron Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teoman Renan, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Concetto Chelodi put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Baron Buffon.
