Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Washington Bezerra got the match started through his kick off. Gaston Roderigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Castel in the 2nd minute of play. When Braulio Castel, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 4 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gaston Roderigo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Gaston Roderigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ştefan Crețu in the 9th minute. Luiz Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ni Gang Yi got free with Gaston Roderigo in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Washington Bezerra in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wojtek Szczęsny saved F.C.BARLAD from getting behind. After 19 played minutes América-SC F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Guedes. Wojtek Szczęsny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington Bezerra in the 23rd minute of play. In the 30th minute Washington Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojtek Szczęsny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, América-SC F.C.'s Washington Bezerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wojtek Szczęsny made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Wojtek Szczęsny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With his leg Gaston Roderigo managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when F.C.BARLAD's Calistrat Bucuță fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ştefan Crețu scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaston Roderigo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ni Gang Yi in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaston Roderigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ni Gang Yi managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.BARLAD's supporters rose to their feet, but Ni Gang Yi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaston Roderigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaston Roderigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ni Gang Yi in the 58th minute of play. Wojtek Szczęsny made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Luiz Pitta sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Eliézer Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. América-SC F.C.'s Otávio Medeiros was substituted for Luizinho Silva. In the 71st minute Ni Gang Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ni Gang Yi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaston Roderigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After 75 minutes América-SC F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pablo Paz who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, F.C.BARLAD's Ştefan Crețu got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 79th minute, Ni Gang Yi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaston Roderigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 84thth minute of the game Braulio Castel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but América-SC F.C.'s Gaston Roderigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th match minute, F.C.BARLAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florin Racoviceanu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Guedes in the 86th minute of play forced F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Wojtek Szczęsny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the América-SC F.C. defense, Ştefan Crețu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaston Roderigo. The América-SC F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Roderigo should have stopped the shot. After 90 played minutes América-SC F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Guedes. Gaston Roderigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Crețu in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Paulo Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Washington Bezerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Wojtek Szczęsny made a huge save. América-SC F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
