Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Gaston Roderigo came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by The Obscurials's Adriano Ribeiro. But to his dismay, Adriano Ribeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Zheng Chao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zheng Chao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Henrique in the 13th minute of the match. Gaston Roderigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Adriano Ribeiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaston Roderigo. Adriano Ribeiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Adriano Ribeiro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gaston Roderigo firmly grabbed it by the left post. América-SC F.C.'s Gaston Roderigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Westerstrand in the 23rd minute of play. The Obscurials were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after América-SC F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabian Spânu took the corner. A collision led to The Obscurials getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Nelson Wright hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriano Ribeiro in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaston Roderigo saved América-SC F.C. from getting behind. In the 32nd minute The Obscurials were awarded a corner. Fabian Spânu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Fabian Spânu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but América-SC F.C.'s Gaston Roderigo did a great save. 36 minutes into the match, América-SC F.C.'s goalkeeper Gaston Roderigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adriano Ribeiro. In the 43rdth minute of the game Adriano Ribeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but América-SC F.C.'s Gaston Roderigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 44 minutes, Adriano Ribeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Obscurials and the América-SC F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anders Westerstrand made a kick off. The Obscurials's Zheng Chao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save The Obscurials from getting a goal against them. In the 52nd match minute, América-SC F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Pitta to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute Paulo Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zheng Chao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, The Obscurials was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fotis Kapiris to maneuver through the defense. Gaston Roderigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Westerstrand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zheng Chao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. América-SC F.C.'s Otávio Medeiros was substituted for Luizinho Silva. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lawrance Grandison in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaston Roderigo saved América-SC F.C. from getting behind. When Leonel Guedes fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored América-SC F.C.'s protests and gave Leonel Guedes a yellow card for diving instead. Leonel Guedes hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Lawrance Grandison notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of América-SC F.C.'s Gaston Roderigo. Gaston Roderigo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute Anders Westerstrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lawrance Grandison scored 7-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaston Roderigo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lawrance Grandison took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaston Roderigo. Gaston Roderigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Lawrance Grandison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gaston Roderigo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anders Westerstrand went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. The Obscurials had played much better football throughout.
