The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 17th minute Macnelly Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vahid Frosch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Vancouver Reds fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 35th minute, Sima Marinković fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 41 minutes, Sima Marinković managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vancouver Reds's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sima Marinković was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Casimir Brazol to make the kick off. Vancouver Reds's Sima Marinković got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sima Marinković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vahid Frosch having to interfere. After 56 played minutes Friesenwerdermoor got a freekick which was hit by Ragnar Neisen. The supporters of Friesenwerdermoor booed when Vancouver Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Love Svensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Friesenwerdermoor's goal looked a bit too open when Sima Marinković came free, but Vahid Frosch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Friesenwerdermoor's goalkeeper Vahid Frosch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 69th minute Sima Marinković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vahid Frosch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sima Marinković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vancouver Reds's Billy Oja was substituted for Sima Marinković. In the 75th minute, Billy Oja ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vahid Frosch was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The supporters of Vancouver Reds booed when Friesenwerdermoor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Eschrich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolás Castillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolás Castillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Vahid Frosch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolás Castillo took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vahid Frosch. Vahid Frosch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Carsten Frommermann kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Nicolás Castillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vahid Frosch having to interfere. The supporters of Vancouver Reds booed when Friesenwerdermoor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ragnar Neisen didn't get a good kick on the ball.
