After some careless play in the América-SC F.C. defense, Adriano Ribeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaston Roderigo. The América-SC F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Roderigo should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind América-SC F.C.'s goalkeeper Gaston Roderigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 38 minutes of play, The Obscurials's Adriano Ribeiro made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Leonel Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. América-SC F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Guedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zheng Chao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over The Obscurials could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than América-SC F.C. throughout the match.
