An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolás Castillo in the 5th minute of play forced Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Ennio Croce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Sao Brasola's Ennio Croce got control of the ball when Jerry Lawler tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Jerry Lawler notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sao Brasola's Ennio Croce. Ennio Croce was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Frântu in the 12th minute of play forced Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Ennio Croce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Vancouver Reds's Macnelly Torres slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ennio Croce. That made the score 2-0 after 14 minutes of play. In the 17th minute, Macnelly Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Ennio Croce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolás Castillo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferdinando Clementi during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Sao Brasola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinando Clementi to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sao Brasola booed when Vancouver Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macnelly Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Franco Donatelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sao Brasola's Ennio Croce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Macnelly Torres in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Vancouver Reds's Nicolás Castillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Ennio Croce made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Nicolás Castillo sent off a good shot on target. Ennio Croce was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Nicolás Castillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicolás Castillo really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Jerry Lawler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ennio Croce having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Sao Brasola's Fulvio Faiella got a free kick in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Amédée Gillis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vancouver Reds's supporters rose to their feet, but Amédée Gillis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ennio Croce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Pang Jun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, Vancouver Reds's Nicolás Castillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ennio Croce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fulvio Faiella made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Vancouver Reds's Amédée Gillis made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ennio Croce was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ennio Croce came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Vancouver Reds's Nicolás Castillo. But to his dismay, Nicolás Castillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 60th minute, Nicolás Castillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vancouver Reds fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Ennio Croce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolás Castillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Ennio Croce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Macnelly Torres went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Ferdinando Clementi hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Ennio Croce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Macnelly Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Macnelly Torres came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Vancouver Reds fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Macnelly Torres couldn't finish the play. In the 71st match minute, Sao Brasola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulvio Faiella to maneuver through the defense. Ennio Croce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolás Castillo's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Pang Jun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennio Croce having to interfere. Nicolás Castillo scored 11-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ennio Croce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the game, Vancouver Reds's Macnelly Torres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ennio Croce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. If Macnelly Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th minute, Nicolás Castillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ennio Croce was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. Macnelly Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennio Croce having to interfere. There was no doubt that Vancouver Reds were the better team. Vancouver Reds's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
