Keylor Navas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fellipe Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Keylor Navas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Washington Bezerra in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe Travassos came free, but Keylor Navas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Washington Bezerra got free with Keylor Navas in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, América-SC F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Haritzeder came free, but Gaston Roderigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Luiz Pitta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The supporters of NECKER49 booed when América-SC F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleithon Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes NECKER49 got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Haritzeder. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leandro Haritzeder was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, América-SC F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Bernat came free, but Gaston Roderigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NECKER49's Keylor Navas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otávio Medeiros in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Bezerra in the 94th minute of play forced NECKER49's goalkeeper Keylor Navas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The América-SC F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching NECKER49's performance. The match ended with a win for NECKER49.
