Omar Duardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kylian Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armada's Cristi Miheș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolás Castillo in the 9th minute of play. In the 15th minute Nicolás Castillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristi Miheș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristi Miheș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolás Castillo in the 18th minute of play. Hassan Barth made in the 26th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Nicolás Castillo immediately put the ball in play. Armada's Cristi Miheș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolás Castillo in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kylian Henry in the 30th minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Omar Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristi Miheș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxwell Eddy, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Omar Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kylian Henry in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vancouver Reds's zone, Kylian Henry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Duardo came out of the goal and Kylian Henry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the game, Luca Frântu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Armada's Elder Godoi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 45th minute, Jerry Lawler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vancouver Reds fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After the first half Vancouver Reds were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolás Castillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristi Miheș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolás Castillo in the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Hassan Barth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vancouver Reds's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Armada the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Hassan Barth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Florinio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Duardo having to interfere. Maxwell Eddy took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristi Miheș. Cristi Miheș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Armada's Edgar Șeicaru got a free kick in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolás Castillo in the 68th minute of play forced Armada's goalkeeper Cristi Miheș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a left leg Omar Duardo saved Vancouver Reds from getting behind. When Liviu Buceceanu came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Armada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liviu Buceceanu couldn't finish the play. Armada's Elder Godoi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Isiah Hinkle in the 89 minute of the game. After 94 minutes, Liviu Buceceanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Armada and the Vancouver Reds players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes Armada got a freekick which was hit by Liviu Buceceanu. Vancouver Reds's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
