A collision led to FC MANLE getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Halil İbrahim Tanuğur hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Maxwell Eddy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vancouver Reds fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 11th minute of the match, Nicolás Castillo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Şadi Turhan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC MANLE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maxwell Eddy was slow to take the kick. During this time Vancouver Reds's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Vancouver Reds's corner Maxwell Eddy fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Şadi Turhan quite easily take care of the ball. Şadi Turhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolás Castillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC MANLE's zone, Amédée Gillis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şadi Turhan came out of the goal and Amédée Gillis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolás Castillo had several of the FC MANLE's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Şadi Turhan as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC MANLE's goalkeeper Şadi Turhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 22 minutes FC MANLE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maxwell Eddy who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Maxwell Eddy got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Şadi Turhan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Maxwell Eddy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Şadi Turhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolás Castillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şadi Turhan having to interfere. FC MANLE's Şadi Turhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save FC MANLE from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Nicolás Castillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şadi Turhan was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 34th minute Nicolás Castillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şadi Turhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerry Lawler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Şadi Turhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolás Castillo got free with Şadi Turhan in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Sarp Cangun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes Maxwell Eddy shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Şadi Turhan when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Halil İbrahim Tanuğur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Şadi Turhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolás Castillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. FC MANLE's Şadi Turhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolás Castillo in the 57th minute of play. Amédée Gillis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Şadi Turhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolás Castillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of FC MANLE:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vancouver Reds:s goal. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Vancouver Reds. Nicolás Castillo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Şadi Turhan. 3-0. Şadi Turhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolás Castillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şadi Turhan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolás Castillo went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Şadi Turhan came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Vancouver Reds's Nicolás Castillo. But to his dismay, Nicolás Castillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC MANLE's goalkeeper Şadi Turhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. He walked away shaking his head. 82 minutes into the game, Hamit Aynacıoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC MANLE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vancouver Reds the free kick. The audience was convinced that Nicolás Castillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şadi Turhan was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FC MANLE's Sarp Cangun got a free kick in the 85th minute. Şadi Turhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxwell Eddy in the 86th minute of play. When Vancouver Reds's Nicolás Castillo in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC MANLE's goalie prevented a goal. 94 minutes into the game, Vancouver Reds's Nicolás Castillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şadi Turhan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 98th minute Nicolás Castillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şadi Turhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vancouver Reds fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC MANLE had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
