Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. Trond Bjørheim came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Mexico booed when Dum Dum Boys Athletics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Mykland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Leoz hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Niks Mus showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 16th minute of play forced Dum Dum Boys Athletics's goalkeeper Trond Bjørheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes, Niks Mus made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trond Bjørheim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trond Bjørheim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 35th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arild Thomassen in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niks Mus was the one to do the kick off. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niks Mus, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's Trond Bjørheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 54th minute of play. Trond Bjørheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 56th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trond Bjørheim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 66th minute. The corner led Mexico's Alberto Tafalla to a score. 3-2 in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 70th minute of play forced Dum Dum Boys Athletics's goalkeeper Trond Bjørheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niks Mus, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 81st minute, Adam Svenningsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dušan Tadić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. After 89 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
