After 9 played minutes DESTROY got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Hotz. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Sendoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Silverio Gonsalve didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Silverio Gonsalve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of play. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DESTROY's goalie prevented a goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Armando Maradona capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Armando Maradona really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. A collision led to DESTROY getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Saturnino Favila hit a great ball. Zhuang Hai Xu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silverio Gonsalve saved DESTROY from getting behind. The supporters of DESTROY booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Armando Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

DESTROY's 武 Messi was substituted for Faustino Jakes. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Armando Maradona notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Zhuang Hai Xu came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the DESTROY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhuang Hai Xu couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhuang Hai Xu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Maradona in the 66th minute of play. DESTROY made a substitution. Brennan Johnson replaced Placido Orlandus. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Maradona, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Armando Maradona might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armando Maradona ran back to his position shaking his head. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhuang Hai Xu in the 79th minute of play. Armando Maradona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After 95 minutes, Eriberto Cefero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DESTROY and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when DESTROY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Cefero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
