Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raul Loramendi's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aírton Leite to make the kick off. In the 76th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. 江苏YZJ联队's 石常磊 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save 江苏YZJ联队 from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aírton Leite in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute Aírton Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 江苏YZJ联队's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
