Nick Pope stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Johansson in the 7th minute of play. In the 12th minute Bernardo Caballero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Caballero in the 20th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nick Pope narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Bernardo Caballero took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. In the 32nd minute, Bajen's Nicklas Trøjgaard ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 35th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Porto in the 36th minute of play. A hard shot 37 in the game by Bernardo Caballero from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Bajen were awarded a corner. Johan Johansson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Bajen's Daniel Åhman getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Porto in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 52nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute Bernardo Caballero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Caballero in the 59th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Sidney Porto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Nick Pope in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Bajen's Bernardo Caballero in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Caballero in the 87th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Caballero in the 90th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Johan Johansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Bajen's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
