Daniel Comăneci's late challenge caught a Jamaica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Comăneci helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jamaica booed when JUNIOR 2012 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 5th minute Finlay Stair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Minulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Karlus Waugh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jamaica's supporters rose to their feet, but Karlus Waugh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Traian Pușcașu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Demonde Jacobson made a huge save. Traian Pușcașu took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 23rd minute of the match Jamaall Padmore shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Minulescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of JUNIOR 2012 booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leron Sale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavius Nechifor, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. JUNIOR 2012's Traian Pușcașu got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them. Traian Pușcașu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Flavius Nechifor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Jarell Hill made a precise shot to the right of Sebastian Minulescu. JUNIOR 2012's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Traian Pușcașu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Pușcașu in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a free kick in the 55th minute. JUNIOR 2012's Cătălin Nicolau was substituted for Traian Pușcașu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavius Nechifor in the 63rd minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Minulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Finlay Stair, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 95 played minutes, Jamaica's Finlay Stair shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sebastian Minulescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jamaica reached it. When the referee ended the match the JUNIOR 2012 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
