The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Chano got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 13th minute of play forced LVCVS AVGVSTI's goalkeeper Rosario Escarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosario Escarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abram Sarmiento took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rosario Escarza. Rosario Escarza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 26thth minute of the game Du Yuan Chao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Skytt in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Du Yuan Chao left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LVCVS AVGVSTI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Du Yuan Chao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosario Escarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Du Yuan Chao was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Baldomero Chano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. After having played for 62 minutes, Du Yuan Chao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LVCVS AVGVSTI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Du Yuan Chao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Du Yuan Chao in the 93rd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zef Zoff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Ignacio Mastache made a precise shot to the right of Rosario Escarza. LVCVS AVGVSTI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3.
