The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th play minute Luciano Acosta came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rolando Noboa. 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Project Nemesis's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Peter Parker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 15th minute of play forced Project Nemesis's goalkeeper Peter Parker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Project Nemesis's Peter Parker. Peter Parker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Parker. Peter Parker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Lech Lisewski kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Acosta, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Luciano Acosta sent off a good shot on target. Efraim Gilabert lost his temper 36 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Peru:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Project Nemesis:s goal. When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Project Nemesis's Luciano Acosta got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rolando Noboa. In the 42nd minute, Milagros Fraga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Wojciech Malewicz fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Project Nemesis's protests and gave Wojciech Malewicz a yellow card for diving instead. Wojciech Malewicz hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Luz Tejedor made the kick off in the second half. Project Nemesis's Peter Parker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Project Nemesis from getting a goal against them. Project Nemesis's Peter Parker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Project Nemesis's goalkeeper Peter Parker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luz Tejedor. Luz Tejedor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Peter Parker made a huge save. Luciano Acosta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Project Nemesis made a substitution. Transito Betonowy replaced Luciano Acosta. Despite being the better team, Peru failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
