Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Moneyball's Xuaco Oñaederra was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 4th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Jacques Dupont was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moneyball's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. In the 10th minute, Jacques Dupont hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alexandre Azevedo in the 14 minute of the game. In the 22nd minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Joaquin Prats almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Moneyball's Dalmo Tasso did a great save. Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alexandre Azevedo, made in the 29th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Moneyball's Rolando Noboa threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xuaco Oñaederra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Xuaco Oñaederra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Xuaco Oñaederra tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 37th minute of play forced Moneyball's goalkeeper Dalmo Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmo Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xuaco Oñaederra in the 41st minute of the match. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alexandre Azevedo in the 43 minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Dalmo Tasso made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moneyball's goalkeeper Dalmo Tasso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 72 played minutes Moneyball got a freekick which was hit by Roland Rakowicz. Moneyball made a substitution. Oliver Bergman replaced Roland Rakowicz. After 73 played minutes Moneyball got a freekick which was hit by Roland Rakowicz. Milagros Fraga scored 1-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dalmo Tasso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Dalmo Tasso made a huge save. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Moneyball's Jacques Dupont managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alonso Berganza in the 85 minute of the game. 87 minutes into the match, Moneyball's goalkeeper Dalmo Tasso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Gallo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Dalmo Tasso in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmo Tasso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 played minutes Moneyball got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Azevedo.
