In the 6th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Bergfelt in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Bergfelt in the 15th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Edward Mcdonald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xuaco Oñaederra struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moneyball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Moneyball's attentive Stephen Curry managed to snatch the ball when Raphael Moore made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. Dalmo Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Bergfelt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Bergfelt went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Xuaco Oñaederra tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xuaco Oñaederra. In the 39th minute, Edward Mcdonald made a precise shot to the right of Dalmo Tasso. Moneyball's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Emanuel Bergfelt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Xuaco Oñaederra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Cassius Byrne put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dalmo Tasso. After the first half USA were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Xuaco Oñaederra made the kick off in the second half. Cassius Byrne who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Dalmo Tasso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of USA booed when Moneyball was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephen Curry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moneyball made a substitution. Oliver Bergman replaced Roland Rakowicz. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. In the 72nd match minute, Moneyball was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephen Curry to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 73 minutes, Monty Rogers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Monty Rogers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xuaco Oñaederra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. After 81 minutes of play, USA's Khalid Parry made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dalmo Tasso was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Xuaco Oñaederra in the 87th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Bergfelt in the 92nd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Moneyball's goal looked a bit too open when Khalid Parry came free, but Dalmo Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, Moneyball's Emanuel Bergfelt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. When the final whistle sounded USA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Moneyball.
