Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Stiinta-Univ.'s Okan Koc started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Martin Crețu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 3rd minute of the match. Okan Koc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Stiinta-Univ. were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Virgil Oargă took the corner. Martin Crețu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 13th minute of play forced Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Martin Crețu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Edward Mcdonald got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Martin Crețu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 15 minutes of play, USA's Edward Mcdonald made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Crețu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute, Zach Harrison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Martin Crețu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Crețu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Aurel Panait got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cassius Byrne in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Crețu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanks to some nice moves Okan Koc could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Marco Day however easily saved by the left post. Shi Ming Sheng scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Martin Crețu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 34th minute of the match. Stiinta-Univ.'s Martin Crețu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 37th minute of play. Martin Crețu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 40th minute of play. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Okan Koc tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Stiinta-Univ. defense, Cassius Byrne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Crețu. The Stiinta-Univ. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Crețu should have stopped the shot. Okan Koc's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marco Day firmly grabbed it by the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. Valeriu Morovan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Edward Mcdonald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Crețu was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 59 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Martin Crețu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. Stiinta-Univ.'s Martin Crețu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Stiinta-Univ. from getting a goal against them. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Panait in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute of the match Stiinta-Univ. got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benjamim Urbano ran over to the corner to take the kick. 75 minutes into the match, Monty Rogers dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Martin Crețu, 1-3. In the 80th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Crețu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. Aurel Panait hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Valeriu Morovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stiinta-Univ.'s Martin Crețu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalid Parry in the 87th minute of play. Sam Campbell's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Martin Crețu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Stiinta-Univ.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Sam Campbell scored to the left of an out of position Martin Crețu, making the score, 1-4. If Shi Ming Sheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
