Worst Arena Ever
Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Francisco Seco got the match started through his kick off. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Stor Klack kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Francisco Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lazaros Kotsiopoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. Mito Chochkov kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lazaros Kotsiopoulos. Worst Team Ever's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Escribano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Worst Team Ever's Isaias Eguerdi in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. Isaias Eguerdi kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Worst Team Ever's Lazaros Kotsiopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Worst Team Ever was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Arne Sjöö to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Worst Team Ever's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Lazaros Kotsiopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lazaros Kotsiopoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Lazaros Kotsiopoulos. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Eguerdi was the one to do the kick off. Francisco Seco scored 1-4 in the 50th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lazaros Kotsiopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Worst Team Ever's Lazaros Kotsiopoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Worst Team Ever from getting a goal against them. After 55 minutes Worst Team Ever's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert to fire away a dangerous shot which Lazaros Kotsiopoulos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. Francisco Seco in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lazaros Kotsiopoulos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 62nd minute of the match. Worst Team Ever's Lazaros Kotsiopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 64th minute of play. Kevin Carballal kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 79 minutes, Stor Klack made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th minute Mito Chochkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Worst Team Ever's goalkeeper Lazaros Kotsiopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Isaias Eguerdi made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. Uruguay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
