In the 2nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Secada to maneuver through the defense. When Rafal Huratiak came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the KP Chemik Police fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafal Huratiak couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedykt Zurawski in the 6th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Benedykt Zurawski sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedykt Zurawski in the 13th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedykt Zurawski in the 18th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. The supporters of KP Chemik Police booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, KP Chemik Police's Rafal Huratiak got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 34 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the KP Chemik Police players grew even worse after the yellow card. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Federer having to interfere. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Napoleon Marchlewicz. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafal Huratiak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Napoleon Marchlewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, KP Chemik Police's Julian Augustyniak got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Venezuela's attentive Jose Correa managed to snatch the ball when Herbert Dula made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. KP Chemik Police were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Napoleon Marchlewicz took the corner. The corner ended in Napoleon Marchlewicz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. KP Chemik Police's Roger Federer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save KP Chemik Police from getting a goal against them. Aleksander Ptaszek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by KP Chemik Police's Napoleon Marchlewicz. But to his dismay, Napoleon Marchlewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Roger Federer in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. KP Chemik Police's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Camilo Gaos made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that KP Chemik Police's Roger Federer managed to reach the ball for a save. KP Chemik Police's Benedykt Zurawski got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafal Huratiak in the 92nd minute of play. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of KP Chemik Police booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Napoleon Marchlewicz in the 97th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jonathan Ferrant's left hand side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KP Chemik Police fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
