Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Douglas Douglas got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Julius Bogaerts tried to sneak it across the goal line. Douglas Douglas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. After 11 minutes, Lander Huveneers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kfc Moerbeke-Waas and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's Lander Huveneers got a free kick in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Gabriel Ladio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's Gabriel Ladio managed to reach the ball for a save. Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manu Portmans in the 28th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lander Huveneers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Ladio having to make a save. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Ladio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Douglas came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ladio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gabriel Ladio quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Gabriel Ladio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kfc Moerbeke-Waas the free kick. After 57 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliazar Ungia in the 58th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gabriel Ladio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Ladio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 66th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ladio having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Eliazar Ungia came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ladio having to interfere. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Gabriel Ladio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliazar Ungia in the 93rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Manu Portmans got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 98th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gabriel Ladio could save by the left post. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
