The audience thought a goal was coming when Pier Kopacz got free with Marco Day in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute Doffes Damer were awarded a corner. Herbert Wincek went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Doffes Damer's corner Herbert Wincek fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. Greid Tinsmith took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's Knut Utfal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 23rd minute of play forced Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Greid Tinsmith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ronaldo Cristi sped through USA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marco Day. Doffes Damer's Greid Tinsmith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Cassius Byrne hit a great ball. Doffes Damer's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Herbert Wincek in the 46th minute. Doffes Damer's Herbert Wincek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marco Day in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cassius Byrne to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Doffes Damer got a freekick which was hit by Pier Kopacz. If Ronaldo Cristi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 70th minute of play forced Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Greid Tinsmith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, USA's Koby Fletcher got a free kick in the 71st minute. Koby Fletcher kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greg Barrera in the 76th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Doffes Damer's zone, Monty Rogers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Greid Tinsmith came out of the goal and Monty Rogers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. USA made a substitution. Inge Braa succeeded in the game's 89th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Jenson Smith kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After 95 minutes, Koby Fletcher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the USA and the Doffes Damer players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Koby Fletcher.
