After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Ronaldo Cristi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Ronaldo Cristi tried to chip the ball over his head. Jacob May received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Greid Tinsmith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 38 in the game by Ronaldo Cristi from a close distance when the talented Marco Day managed to make a qualified save. USA's players were relieved. Greid Tinsmith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 43rd minute of the match. When Jenson Smith fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored USA's protests and gave Jenson Smith a yellow card for diving instead. Jenson Smith kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

Greid Tinsmith took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Greid Tinsmith made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 65th minute. Herbert Wincek hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Kaj Lund kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Greid Tinsmith made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Sam Campbell sent off a good shot on target. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. The supporters of USA booed when Doffes Damer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pier Kopacz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Greg Barrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Greid Tinsmith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Campbell in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greg Barrera in the 82nd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Vedholm in the 95th minute of play. USA's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Doffes Damer had won, even though USA had held more of the ball.
