The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. TZILACATZIN's Celso Manni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Leguizamo in the 8th minute of play. TZILACATZIN's attentive Modesto Loren managed to snatch the ball when Jorge Magrina made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. After 31 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Curbelo. 36 minutes into the game, Mateo Leguizamo threw the ball into play from the sideline. TZILACATZIN's Ubaldo Ioritz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
