Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Ernesto Scevola tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dino Roberto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Villadeatese FC's Arrigo Clementi got a free kick in the 17th minute. Dino Roberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Roberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dino Roberto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th match minute, Villadeatese FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Cameli to maneuver through the defense. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Roberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute Arrigo Clementi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Arrigo Clementi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ernesto Scevolas short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The wind increased when Ernesto Scevola made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Villadeatese FC's Dino Roberto got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberto Maranhense's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermanno Testi in the 65th minute of play. Dino Roberto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 66th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dino Roberto. Felix Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Villadeatese FC's Dino Gazza was substituted for Ernesto Scevola. Villadeatese FC made a substitution. Corrado Apolloni replaced Amerigo Pedroni. After 79 minutes Villadeatese FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Villadeatese FC's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Villadeatese FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Dino Roberto in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Gazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alberto Maranhense was slow to take the kick. During this time Villadeatese FC's players had a chance to rest. The Villadeatese FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
