But to his dismay, Sonny Perkins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 6th minute, Antoni Majusiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sonny Perkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30thth minute of the game Sonny Perkins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Perkins in the 32nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sonny Perkins got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sonny Perkins in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 44th match minute, Quetzal Flyers Hammers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glenn Hysén to maneuver through the defense. Sonny Perkins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save.

Quetzal Flyers Hammers made a substitution. Alexander Biörnberg replaced Antoni Majusiak. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Sonny Perkins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Quetzal Flyers Hammers getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Alexander Biörnberg hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Tony Cote notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonny Perkins in the 77th minute of play. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sonny Perkins got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Sonny Perkins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sonny Perkins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Sonny Perkins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 94th minute Sonny Perkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Francesco Marines proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Quetzal Flyers Hammers from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Tony Cote kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Quetzal Flyers Hammers were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
