Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Bergfelt in the 17th minute of the match. Ed 冯义南 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 19th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Börje Bergfelt. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tombak got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from 吴邦沙 in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ed 冯义南 having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 45th minute of play forced 【粤】快乐的七七's goalkeeper Ed 冯义南 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Carballar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A very good chance for a goal. 78 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Bergfelt came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Bergfelt in the 81st minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Börje Bergfelt in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute, Alberto Tombak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Bergfelt in the 94th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
