Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. IKS Norrköping's Emanuel Sigfridsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 4th minute of play. Emanuel Sigfridsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Sigfridsson having to interfere. Emanuel Sigfridsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 15th minute of play. After 16 minutes IKS Norrköping's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Luca Rouco made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that IKS Norrköping's Emanuel Sigfridsson managed to reach the ball for a save. It was a well-played corner which Luca Zorita managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 19 minutes into the game, Luca Rouco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IKS Norrköping the free kick. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tobias Ekeberg's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. IKS Norrköping's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 26th minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Emanuel Sigfridsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 29th minute of play. Pelle Jönsätt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. In the 32nd minute Tobias Ekeberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Sigfridsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 38th minute of the match. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd match minute, IKS Norrköping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Blomqvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Sigfridsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Felix Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. IKS Norrköping's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Joel Gaona scored to the left of an out of position Emanuel Sigfridsson, making the score, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Sigfridsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the match, IKS Norrköping's goalkeeper Emanuel Sigfridsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. 63 minutes into the match, Marcus Hedström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Hedström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Lautaro Mancebo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Emanuel Sigfridsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to IKS Norrköping getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Marcus Hedström hit a great ball. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Emanuel Sigfridsson made a huge save. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Sigfridsson made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Ekeberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than IKS Norrköping throughout the match.
