A well done corner resulted in Tord Hökkvist drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Peru's goalkeeper. Anthony Alvarado lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Peru:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Bullen:s goal. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Tord Hökkvist made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Toni Schumacher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joakim Skarkman made in the 37th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Roland Topp. In the 40th minute Amador Merexildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 41st minute of play forced FC Bullen's goalkeeper Toni Schumacher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after FC Bullen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Alonso Berganza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Toni Schumacher quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alonso Berganza took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toni Schumacher. Toni Schumacher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luz Tejedor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Roger Hellström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 minutes, Gustavo Lopes made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Peru's Rolando Noboa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Peru's attentive Julian Murillo managed to snatch the ball when Tord Hökkvist made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Gustavo Lopes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Tord Hökkvist made in the 60th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Joakim Skarkman. 66 minutes into the match, FC Bullen's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Toni Schumacher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luz Tejedor ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, FC Bullen's Toni Schumacher got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. A throw-in in the 85th minute of the game was made by Tord Hökkvist with Roland Topp as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. FC Bullen's Toni Schumacher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save FC Bullen from getting a goal against them. Tord Hökkvist made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Toni Schumacher successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Peru's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FC Bullen had won, even though Peru had held more of the ball.
