After a rather tough play, Green Madness's Philippe Wartel got a free kick in the 15th minute. Luis Devillers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The wind increased when Philippe Wartel made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Luca Espinar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the Green Madness players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Luca Espinar got a free kick in the 51st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Devillers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Noël Saliou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. Honduras's Christian Sancho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bernard Rochet in the 64 minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philippe Wartel in the 92nd minute of play. Bernard Rochet made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. With a little luck, Green Madness's Luis Devillers got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Honduras played a much better game than Green Madness and deserved their victory. The Green Madness players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
