Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Augusto Landero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ilias Seichanidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, ΟΦΗ's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Ilias Seichanidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilias Seichanidis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Apostolis Kalopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilias Seichanidis having to interfere. Ilias Seichanidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as ΟΦΗ's Nasos Papadis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-1 after 19 minutes of play. The ΟΦΗ fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when ΟΦΗ's Nasos Papadis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nasos Papadis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 26 minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, ΟΦΗ's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Ilias Seichanidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after ΟΦΗ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nasos Papadis got free with Julio Vera in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Landero was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ilias Seichanidis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ilias Seichanidis made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. ΟΦΗ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Cristian Sancho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ΟΦΗ's Ilias Seichanidis did a great save. Ilias Seichanidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 69th minute of the match. After 71 minutes, Nasos Papadis made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oğuzhan Tolun during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, ΟΦΗ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oğuzhan Tolun to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nasos Papadis in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Augusto Landero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Augusto Landero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apostolis Kalopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nasos Papadis in the 93rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Ilias Seichanidis in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of ΟΦΗ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ilias Seichanidis. 4-2.
