Gigih Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Tracto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Zâncă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yin Bin Shi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a Tracto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute of the match Fred de Brito shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Fidel Kimetz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Tracto booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Yin Bin Shi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tracto's supporters rose to their feet, but Yin Bin Shi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Kimetz in the 92nd minute of play.
