Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Flamme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Rafael Flamme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shao Xi to maneuver through the defense. Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern's Rafael Flamme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. Rafael Flamme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Felix Montes got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 24 minutes into the match. Seyfi Çırakoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jörg Ehlers helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern got a freekick which was hit by Jörg Ehlers. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th match minute, Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörg Ehlers to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Flamme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Rafael Flamme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shao Xi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern.
